The cultivation in rafts typical of the Galician estuaries and loughs allows us to obtain mussels without a trace of sand and of excellent quality. At Palacio de Oriente, we select the finest mussels when they have reached an optimal size and we prepare them in our cannery located in the Rías Baixas, so that you can serve canned DOP “Mejillón de Galicia” mussels in Napoli sauce –which contains all the flavor of the Atlantic diet in 115 grams– at your table.

After a thorough cleaning, the Mytilus galloprovincialis are steamed, and afterwards, the shells and byssus are removed. To keep them from releasing water that could spoil the sauce, they are dehydrated and all the excess liquid is removed.
Once prepared, they are packed in a neat presentation that captivates the senses from the moment the can is opened. The aroma of the Napoli sauce made with tomato, pepper and a touch of chili stimulate the appetite.
