Palacio de Oriente's canned seafood products are notable for their high protein content and for the fact that they are rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, particularly those preserved in olive oil.

Octopus in olive oil
Octopus is the most weIl known seafood product from the Galician coast. Its delicious meat is a real treat for chefs, given that it can be prepared in myriad ways, by adding some paprika (not included) we get one of the great dishes of Spanish cuisine, the famous “Pulpo a la Gallega”.
Albacore (germo alalunga), also known as Albicore, is the most highly-rated of all tuna species. It is fished exclusively with fishing rods. It is famous for its white, lean, light and tasty meat. It has a very low fat content, and the use of a recipe that uses very little salt, make it easy to digest and an ideal product for all kinds of diets. This product is a good source of Omega 3 and 6 oils. Connoisseurs of good tuna will find the most exclusive species of fish in this product.
Yellowfin Tuna (thunnus albacares) gets its name from the colour of its dorsal fins; it is the second most consumed species of tuna in the world. Our production method maintains all of the nutritional properties of the fish intact, without the use of any conservatives or artificial colours. Yellowfin Tuna in olive oil is remarkable for its high content of proteins and fatty acids (omega 3 and 6), which are very nutritious and can help prevent heart disease and high cholesterol. Its delicate flavour is ideal for all kinds of recipes and occasions.
FILLETS OF CANTABRIAN ANCHOVIES
The seas off northern Spain (where the Atlantic Ocean becomes the Cantabrian Sea, a sea where the cold waters of the north blend with more temperate waters) is where we find the very best anchovies in the world. The raw material is “Engrandis Encrasicolus” or European Anchovy, which has no equal in terms of its size and the taste of its meat. Fillets of this fish are naturally compact, with an intense flavour. It is fished between April and the start of June and the amounts that can be taken from the sea are carefully monitored. This fish is prepared manually in a meticulously traditional manner, always making sure to observe the minimum maturation times required to achieve a high standard of finished product (at least six months). Our Palacio de Oriente fillets in olive oil are compact, fleshy, free of any bones, and with a naturally intense yet delicate flavour, with just the right amount of seasoning.
MACKEREL FILLETS IN OLIVE OIL
Palacio de Oriente Fillets of Portuguese Mackerel in olive oil is a top of the range product that is very rich in Omega 3 oils. The mackerel (scomber Colias) is selected, worked on manually and packed in fillets one at a time. The fishing takes place in the clear waters south of the Iberian Peninsula (Portuguese and Spanish). The fillets are prepared according to an old recipe that is remarkable for achieving just the right amount of cooking and saltiness, giving us fillets that are tender, compact and tasty, thereby meeting the standards of even the most demanding Italian palates.
