The traditional flavour of tinned seafood

Palacio de Oriente offers a set of products with characteristics typically associated with the Mediterranean diet, which place a strong emphasis on the traditional values of canned food: healthy, natural, balanced, with no preservatives or food colourings and with the unmistakable flavour of olive oil.

Palacio de Oriente's canned seafood products are notable for their high protein content and for the fact that they are rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, particularly those preserved in olive oil.

The food pyramid is a method used to suggest the variety of foods to consume on a daily basis and the corresponding amounts of the same in proportion to each other.

Mediterranean countries have high levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids in their daily diet, these being substances that provide a multitude of benefits recognized by the medical community, such as:

  • Helping to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides.

  • Prevention of cardiovascular disease, resulting from the reduction in blood pressure, the increase in vasodilation and the anti-inflammatory effects provided by the consumption of these fatty acids, thus reducing the risk of myocardial infarction.

  • Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are involved in the formation of cell membranes and they make up most of the brain tissue. They are found in the nerve cells responsible for the regulation of the cardiovascular, immune, digestive, and reproductive systems.

  • They help children to have better visual acuity and improved retinal development.

Palacio de Oriente makes it its business to ensure that you can enjoy at any time of the year products that are tinned when at their very peak in terms of maturity and nutrition, when the product is at just the right point as regards flavour and texture.
